Additional panelists include representatives from Southern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA), New York City Department of Transportation, and Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

This session highlights innovations and the potential for technology to improve transit management, navigation, and enforcement. SEPTA's fleet-wide APC installation program provides insight into understanding and managing transit networks. In-vehicle turn-by-turn navigation during detours has been shown to be effective in providing navigational guidance to bus operators, as demonstrated in a case study.  Automated bus lane enforcement in NYC has also been implemented to improve transit efficiency.
